Bit of a plantsman's plant, this Clematis is flowering with us in late winter/early spring with scented, bell shaped greeny-yellow flowers, filled with lovely red-purple stamens which give way to fluffy seed heads. Plant in full sun or part shade in moist well-drained soil. Frost hardy (give winter protection in colder gardens). No pruning necessary. H 12' approx. Deep 2 litre pot.
