Affectionately known as the strawberry tree the non-edible fruits of this shrub are preceded by small white or pink bell-shaped flowers.  Large evergreen with beautiful, rough brown bark and leathery leaves.  Hardy. Plant in any aspect in a sheltered place in moist but well-drained acid to neutral soil in full sun.
