The beautiful Jade vine is a great rarity in this country and extremely hard to find. In this country it has to be a conservatory plant and shouldn't go below 15C in winter. It's a vigorous evergreen climber with extraordinary pendulous flower racemes made up of individual clawed waxy flowers, in green varying from aquamarine to jade, according to the plant.  In nature it grows in damp forests and it's pollinated by bats.  It needs full sun to partial shade and moist but well drained loam or sandy soil that is acid or neutral.  Don't saturate it but don't allow it to dry out, either.  This twining vine flowers when the wood is beginning to mature.
