This is just so not what we think of as 'privet'! The super-glossy dark green leaves have a slight wave in their rounded shape and make this an extremely handsome specimen shrub or hedge. Slow-growing, ours is now about 7' tall in a shady area, though it will grow in sun, too. Spread approx. 3'. White flowers in summer. Evergreen. 2 litre pot
