Once known as Senecio this rather tropical looking spreading, evergreen perennial has star like yellow flowers and coarsely toothed velvet leaves.  It's a good plant for natural or pond areas.  Half-hardy, it is good for temperate gardens and will go down to 0C.  Ours, under glass is around 10' but outside it gets to around 6' tall and spreads to about 4' or 5'. Unusual in this country.
