This wonderful shrub makes you gasp when it's covered in its beautiful white, cup shaped single flowers around 3" across in summer. Evergreen, up to 45' or so, perhaps more but columnar to about 15'. Grow as a specimen plant so its beauty can be appreciated. Neutral or acidic soil and a light woodland setting with the roots shaded and the crown in sun with shelter from cold/ drying winds.. Hardy in most gardens but borderline in the coldest.
