Corymbs of white flowers in autumn are a magnet for butterflies and bees. This is a truly valuable plant in the 'insect attractive' garden. Plant in sun to part shade in most well drained soils. In cold gardens protect in winter. This is a BIG plant & needs room. It can grow to 14' tall in ideal conditions but takes time to do so, maybe 10 years. Its spread is about the same.
