We have found Grevilleas to be hardy in our garden although it's described as frost tender.  This is a rounded evergreen shrub with lovely coral coloured flowers in racemes. The leaves are sharply pointed and rosemary-like in appearance.  Don't plant it where it will 'bite' anyone passing by!  Good for borders in sheltered spots and milder gardens and likes full sun in well-drained acid or neutral soil or gritty compost.
